Are you a natural storyteller with an eye for that unique narrative that cuts through a noisy market? We have the perfect role for you! Whiz is looking for a motivated freelance content writer (topic: personal finance) to join our team. In this role, you’ll be executing our content plans by diving into the exciting world of FinTech to craft trending, educational and thought leadership content (in the form of blog posts) for our growing audience (children of all ages & parents).
This is a remote work setup, compensated based on output. Interested candidate, please apply and attach your writing portfolio that is relevant to the topics that we would cover at Whiz.
Job Description:
- Write clear, concise, and compelling articles (in Bahasa Indonesia or English) that drive engagement and conversions across all channels
- Proofread and copy edit materials when requested
- Stay up to date on content writing best practices and emerging educational trends
- Simplify very complex messages with simple writing structure
- Always aim for readability and clear delivery of the idea and message
Kualifikasi
- You have some experience as a journalist or content marketer in personal finance, gaming, KPOP, be it at school or at work.
- You are a storyteller who can translate complex ideas into straightforward, influential content that differentiates our message in the market.
- You are naturally curious, detail oriented and have the ability to uncover unique points of view and perspectives on the topics you cover.
- You have experience in writing and optimising content for search and have first-rate editing and proofreading skills
- A basic understanding of SEO Optimization principles is preferred but not required.
