Strategic Business Development Lead

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that drives revenue growth.
  • Lead, develop and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Perform monitor and analyze sales pipeline VS closing.
  • Perform monitor sales achievement based on potential revenue VS current revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Analyse market data to identify trends and opportunities and collaborate with the strategies team to align sales strategies with market insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, business & support, to ensure the effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Manage sales budgets and forecast revenue and expenses accurately.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and trends in the Market and leverage this.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, SMS Gateway, Chatbot, or any other IT industry, with a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and managing teams.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of sales professionals.
  • Deep understanding of the IT industry, including key players, trends, and challenges.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze market data and use it to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take the initiative and drive change.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required, and an MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification would be an advantage.
