Job Overview
We are on a hunt for a Copywriter to shape Torch’s brand image and connecting with our target audience. As a Copywriter, you will do effective copywriting that can drive customer engagement, enhance brand loyalty, and contribute to the success of marketing campaigns and product launches in the fashion industry.
Job Role:
- Content Creation: Write engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including website content, product descriptions, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all written content aligns with the brand's tone, style, and messaging guidelines, maintaining a consistent brand voice across all channels.
- Product Descriptions: Craft detailed and enticing product descriptions that highlight features, benefits, and the unique selling points of fashion items.
- Storytelling: Develop brand stories and narratives that resonate with customers and create an emotional connection to the brand.
- Headlines and Taglines: Create attention-grabbing headlines, taglines, and slogans that capture the essence of the brand and its products.
- SEO Optimization: Incorporate relevant keywords and SEO best practices to improve the visibility of content in search engine results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams, designers, photographers, and marketing professionals to ensure that written content complements visual elements effectively.
- Research: Stay updated on industry trends, fashion terminology, and competitor activities to inform and enhance content creation.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Ad Campaigns: Contribute to the development of advertising campaigns by writing copy for print, digital, and social media ads.
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field is typically preferred.
- Experience: Min.2 years of experience as a copywriter (a track record in fashion retail industry is a plus).
- Fashion Knowledge: A strong passion for and knowledge of the fashion industry, including trends, styles, and terminology, is essential for crafting authentic and compelling content.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and punctuation. The ability to adapt writing style for different platforms and audiences is crucial.
- Creativity: A creative mindset to develop innovative and attention-grabbing content that sets the brand apart.
- Brand Understanding: An understanding of the brand's identity, values, and target audience to create content that resonates and builds brand loyalty.
- SEO Awareness: Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research tools to optimize content for search engines.
- Adaptability: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing trends, and meet tight deadlines.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in word processing and content management software, as well as a basic understanding of digital marketing and analytics tools.
- Attention to Detail: Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure error-free and high-quality content.
