Rizmy Otlani

I am a candidate pursuing a Master of Business Taxation at the University of Minnesota. My educational journey began in 2011 through a scholarship from Ministry of Finance with a diploma in taxation. It continued in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, which laid the foundation for my career in taxation and accounting. I gained valuable experience at the Directorate General of Taxation as an Account Representative, specializing in Digital Companies, Finance, and Banking Industries for ten years, navigating the complex world of tax regulations and financial systems. Simultaneously, I worked as an instructor for Brevet A&B from 2015 to 2016, sharing my expertise in Value-Added Tax (VAT) and taxation. I am also actively involved in article publishing in tax and a keynote speaker in some tax seminars. Besides understanding the accounting and taxation field, I also played a pivotal role at the Directorate of Education, Service, and Public Relations from 2017-2020. handling the website management, policy publishing, and design thinking. I honed my skills in strategic communication, journalism, and user experience, contributing to positive organizational transformations.
