Ferio Brahmana

Hi, I am Ferio Brahmana, was majoring in Engineering Physics from ITB and now pursuing Master of Bio and Brain Engineering in KAIST. I have some research experience in diverse areas, including acoustics, signal processing for time series, and machine learning for traffic models. Not only in research environments, I also demonstrated my ability to solve complex problems using mathematical modeling in various industries (e.g. price analysis in online travel industry, strategy & planning in banking, and even as a curriculum coordinator in edu-tech of machine learning topics). I have lots of interest in complex systems, specifically nonlinear dynamics methodologies, information theory, and their integration with machine learning. This is the reason why I am now pursuing understanding of biological systems and hope to be able to contribute more in tackling complex diseases such like cancer and aging. Those interests are also the reason why I am able to strive in "non-conventional" industries for an engineering physics graduate - because, for me, they are all just another type of complex system problems.
