Diah Retno Yuniarni

Diah currently serves as a Research Analyst at the Pertamina Energy Institute, where she manages the ASEAN Council on Petroleum (ASCOPE) project. Her responsibilities include fostering collaboration, shaping policies, and conducting studies within the oil and gas sector. This year, PT Pertamina (Persero) holds the role of ASCOPE Secretary in Charge, overseeing business potential and regional cooperation across ASEAN for the next five years. Previously, Diah worked as a Junior Consultant at the International Energy Agency (IEA), specializing in energy policy analysis in Southeast Asia. At the IEA, she contributed to the 2024 State of Energy Policy Report, assessing national trade policies, domestic manufacturing incentives, and government spending in the energy sector. As an intern at the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), Diah was part of the Energy Modelling and Policy Planning division. She contributed to multiple projects, published at least nine works, and developed expertise in data analytics and visualization, particularly using the Low Emission Analysis Platform (LEAP) for energy modeling. Diah is also a certified trainer for the Italy-IRENA Action for Climate Toolkit in Indonesia, showcasing her dedication to climate action and sustainable energy initiatives. She is an experienced speaker at various events, highlighting her passion for promoting energy transition through youth empowerment.
