Alya Ghina Aqila Arham

In 2016, Alya earned her Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Science and Technology from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). During her time at ITB, she received multiple accolades, including the most outstanding first-year student and runner-up for both ITB's and Indonesia's top pharmaceutical student. After becoming a pharmacist in 2018, Alya joined AstraZeneca as a Market Access Scientific Associate. There, she managed Cardiovascular and Metabolic products, leveraging her expertise in clinical and pharmacoeconomic study reviews to ensure their inclusion in national health coverage. Awarded the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) scholarship in 2019, she pursued a Master’s in Precision Medicine at University College London. Her research utilized machine learning for multi-omics data, identifying cellular and proteomic signatures of rheumatoid arthritis using genuine patient data. Concurrently, Alya volunteered at Evelina Children’s Heart Organization (ECHO) UK, aiding families affected by congenital heart disease.
