Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor who specializes in short-form content for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This role involves producing engaging, high-quality videos that captivate audiences, align with brand identity, and meet marketing objectives.
Additionally, you will play a key role in media operations, assisting with video production, editing, and coordinating content strategies. If you are passionate about storytelling, visual aesthetics, and staying ahead of social media trends, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production:
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) with engaging transitions, effects, and animations.
- Enhance content with captions, text overlays, motion graphics, and sound effects to maximize engagement.
- Optimize video formats and resolutions for different social media platforms.
Content & Media Operations:
- Assist in managing the video production workflow, from concept to final edit.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with branding and campaign goals.
- Plan and execute post-production tasks, including editing photos or videos for events, media series, or ad-hoc projects.
Project & Team Coordination:
- Prioritize tasks and update day-to-day work with team leads to meet deadlines.
- Assist in managing project milestones, ensuring deliverables align with objectives.
- Support communication with internal teams for content planning and execution.
Kualifikasi
Requirements
Language & Communication:
- Proficiency in English is a must (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline (Film Production/Film, Sound, and Video is a plus).
- At least 1 year of experience in video editing and post-production.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro X.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and Illustrator is a plus.
- Experience handling cameras, lighting, and audio equipment is a major advantage.
Creative & Organizational Skills:
- Strong understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and video pacing.
- Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
