One of our valued clients in Singapore is looking for a Video Editor who can create aesthetically pleasing, well-paced videos that are visually refined and emotionally engaging. The ideal candidate understands how to balance beauty and function: creating videos that look premium, feel intentional, and still capture attention in the first few seconds. Chinese language proficiency is preferred, and experience with AI-assisted editing tools is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Production & Editing: Edit aesthetic, visually refined videos for social media and digital platforms. Craft gentle but effective hooks that draw viewers naturally. Shape videos with clear storytelling flow and smooth pacing. Adapt edits for social media and ads while preserving aesthetic quality.
- Motion Graphics & Visual Design: Design tasteful motion graphics, captions, and subtitles (English & Chinese). Maintain consistent visual style, mood, and brand tone across all content. Edit beyond templates with a refined visual eye.
- AI Tools & Creative Innovation: Use AI tools to enhance visuals, workflows, and creative exploration (Runway, Pika, Adobe AI, CapCut AI, Midjourney). Collaborate with creative teams to elevate visual storytelling. Stay curious about using AI as a creative tool, not a shortcut.
Kualifikasi
Requirements
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics, composition, and rhythm
- Understanding of storytelling and emotional flow in video
- Portfolio showing aesthetic, story-driven video work
- Proficient in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut)
- Ability to edit beyond templates with a refined visual eye
- Experience or interest in AI-powered creative tools (Runway, Pika, Adobe AI, CapCut AI, Midjourney)
- Values clean, intentional editing over excessive effects
- Nice to Have:
- Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written)—preferred for bilingual content creation
- Background in branding, design, or visual storytelling
- Experience editing lifestyle, beauty, wellness, or premium brands
- Motion graphics or subtle animation skills
- Understanding of platform formats while keeping visuals elegant
