Technical Writer is essential in creating comprehensive, clear, and understandable documentation for various audiences, translating complex information into accessible manuals, guides, articles, and documents that support the use and understanding of technology and processes. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities, ensuring both high-quality documentation and robust, reliable software.
- Develop technical documentation that meets organizational standards and effectively communicates complex information.
- Organize, revise, and maintain documentation for continuity, clarity, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with product teams, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather the necessary information for documentation.
- Ensure technical accuracy and consistency through reviews and revisions of documents.
- Tailor documentation for different target audiences, ensuring user-friendliness and comprehension.
- Adhere to company style guides, documentation standards, and legal compliance requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in technical writing or a related field. Familiarity with the technology or product being documented.
- Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, Confluence) and basic understanding of programming languages or database technologies for software documentation.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and composition.
- Ability to understand and document technical concepts accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams across departments.
