Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Forecast demand and plan procurement of raw materials, including shrimp feed, stock, and other aquaculture inputs
- Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers of aquaculture feed, equipment, farm supplies, and other essentials
- Ensure supplier compliance with sustainability and quality standards
- Manage relationships with vendors to secure reliable supply chains
- Oversee transportation and distribution of aquaculture products, ensuring timely delivery
- Optimize logistics to minimize costs
- Monitor inventory levels and implement efficient inventory control systems
- Manage cold chain logistics for perishable aquaculture products
- Reduce wastage and ensure the availability of critical supplies
- Use data analytics to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in supply chain operations
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost, delivery timelines, and supplier performance
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all supply chain activities
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections related to aquaculture operations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Aquaculture, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the aquaculture, agriculture, or food production industry
- Familiarity with cold chain logistics and perishable product management is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, odoo or similar tools
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and regulatory requirements in the aquaculture industry

For that reason, our system provides water quality monitoring, and planning & reporting tools, complete with a decision support system so farmers can initiate the right treatment at the right time, based on data which has been collected and analysed. All the data from every farm using the system is automatically sent in for collation and review in order to gain valuable insight into the industry as a whole.
This data can be broken down into farm performance, production levels, and disease patterns across region, species and/or manager. Through the power of data JALA will make sustainable and profitable shrimp farming common practice.
