Deskripsi Pekerjaan

You will be working within our Product Engineering Team, working closely with the CTO (yes, we value lean structure to the utmost, anyone can reach out to anyone within TipTip - may it be senior management or staff), cross-team (marketing, data, community, customer excellence), and the rest of the product engineering team (engineer & product) to build a strong engineering culture.
You will design and build the solution that hit the sweet spot between under-engineering x over- engineering the given business problem.
You will work with Product and Design in a highly collaborative and transparent environment from ideation - to execution - to maintenance (on-call) - to iteration.
You should be expected to solve interesting engineering problems, help establish well-designed engineering processes/cultures, and ship high-quality products.

Kualifikasi

At least 3 years of experience in building and deploying applications in production (preferably with a similar stack at TipTip. See Engineering at TipTip).
Experience working in a startup-like environment with high levels of ownership and commitment, value incremental progress over perfection.
A proven track record of taking an idea and making it happen through the entire software development lifecycle.
Experience working with container-based (docker) cloud-based environments.
Experience with some scaling challenges on backend systems (for Backend Role), optimization on client apps (for Web/Mobile Role).
Have an understanding of topics like data modeling, database fundamentals, API design, caching, and architecture patterns.
Have an interest in helping us define engineering process and culture, more importantly - believe in our mission to bring positivity to the content creator economy across South East Asia.
