We are hiring: Software Engineer – Backend
We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that power Baskit’s national operations as we expand across Java and beyond. This role will work closely with the Head of Technology and play a critical role in designing and optimizing the core infrastructure behind our ERP, Cashflow, and Risk platforms.
If you have 3-5 years of experience as a Backend Developer (Supply chain management or ERP background preferred), strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, and a knack for problem-solving in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you!
IMPORTANT: We are only considering candidates who are able to commute to our BSD office.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions that scale.
- Write clean, readable, and well-documented code for long-term use and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure reliability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews as part of the CI/CD cycle.
- Participate in testing, QA, and bug fixing to maintain high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and best practices.

Kualifikasi
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related roles.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data processing languages preferred.
- Familiarity with Looker or similar BI/reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in data.
- Comfortable working across teams and managing multiple priorities.
- High adaptability, eagerness to learn, and a passion for solving problems with data.
- Bahasa Indonesia (Native), English (Conversational).
