The Role
Ku Creatives is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Executive to build our own brand from the inside. This role is not for client work. You will create content for our founder Calvin's personal brand on Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn, and for the Ku Creatives company account.You will script, edit and sometimes shoot content that attracts clients and grows our reputation. We turn results, case studies and behind-the-scenes moments into content people want to watch. We are looking for someone who can own a content calendar, work closely with Calvin to capture his voice, and keep a steady stream of content going out.
What You Will Be Doing
- Plan and script content for Calvin's personal brand across Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn (Calvin.KCU)
- Create and manage content for the Ku Creatives company account (kucreatives.llc)
- Edit short-form and long-form video that fits each platform
- Shoot content when needed, either on your own or by directing on-camera talent
- Turn our case studies, results and behind-the-scenes into content that attracts clients
- Build content calendars and keep a consistent posting schedule
- Write hooks, captions and copy that fit each platform
- Track what performs and use the data to shape the next round of content
- Stay on top of trends, formats and platform changes
- Work closely with Calvin to capture his ideas and voice
- Coordinate with the in-house production team on graphics, thumbnails and edits when needed
Kualifikasi
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2 to 3 years creating social content, ideally for a personal brand or founder
- A Bachelor's degree, ideally in communications, marketing, media or a related field
- Strong short-form video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar
- Able to script content that hooks viewers and holds their attention
- Comfortable shooting video and directing people on camera
- A solid understanding of how Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn each work
- A portfolio of content you have scripted and edited
- A good sense of storytelling, pacing and trends
- Strong writing skills for hooks and captions
- Organised, able to run a content calendar and hit posting deadlines
- Self-driven and able to work independently
- Willing to WFO in South Jakarta
- Able to join immediately
Good to Have
- Experience growing a founder or personal brand account
- Experience creating B2B, agency or marketing content
- Familiar with AI content tools such as HeyGen, Descript, ElevenLabs and CapCut
- Basic graphic design skills for thumbnails and simple statics
- Experience with YouTube long-form and LinkedIn thought-leadership content
