About the Role
As a QA Intern at SIRCLO, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products before they reach users. You will join a dynamic product squad and gain hands-on experience validating new features, identifying issues, and supporting the delivery of high-quality software.
This role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to Quality Assurance practices, ranging from manual testing to test automation using Cypress. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and experienced QA Engineers to help deliver seamless experiences for thousands of businesses using our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and exploratory testing on new features and product enhancements.
- Execute manual testing activities to identify defects, usability issues, and edge cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Report, track, and verify bugs with clear and detailed documentation to support effective issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers to understand requirements and define testing approaches from the early stages of development.
- Participate in squad ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and product discussions.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation to support quality standards.
- Validate feature releases and ensure products meet functional and quality requirements before deployment.
- Learn software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices through mentorship and hands-on experience.
- Contribute to continuous improvements within the product development and quality assurance processes.
Kualifikasi
- Be a final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrate an understanding of software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing concepts.
- Show interest in, or hands-on experience with, Cypress or other testing frameworks through academic, personal, or extracurricular projects.
- Understand fundamental concepts of software quality assurance, bug tracking, and test case development.
- Apply strong logical and analytical thinking to identify defects, edge cases, and potential risks within applications.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and maintain accuracy when documenting findings and test results.
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn through mentorship and feedback.
- Adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
