We are hiring for a digital commerce and marketing agency based in Australia with over 28 years of experience, working with long-term clients across multiple industries. The agency works with clients across retail, fashion, beauty, professional services, and not-for-profits. As a small, high-performance team with a startup feel, we’re looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Specialist who can take real ownership, move fast, and make decisions based on data — not guesswork.
This is a hands-on senior role. You will own performance outcomes across multiple clients, lead paid media strategy, and work closely with account and creative teams to drive measurable growth.
The role is remote, but you’ll be working closely with an Australian-based team and clients, operating to AU agency standards.
Our clients span a wide range of budgets. Some accounts run AUD 1,500–5,000 per month, while others scale to AUD 50,000–100,000+ in monthly ad spend, requiring disciplined optimization and a strong command of ROAS, CAC, CPA, and MER.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Ownership & Execution
- Own the full campaign lifecycle across Meta, Google, and TikTok — setup, optimization, scaling, reporting, and client consultation
- Plan, launch, and scale performance campaigns aligned to client goals and commercial outcomes
- Develop and run structured testing frameworks across creatives, hooks, angles, formats, audiences, and placements
- Define and test audience strategies to maximize efficiency and return on ad spend
- Brief designers and content teams on ad concepts, hooks, motion ideas, and creative formats
Performance & Growth
- Manage multiple client accounts and deliver consistent month-on-month improvements across ROAS, CAC, CPA, MER, and revenue
- Review and guide UGC, influencer, and partnership creatives from a performance perspective
- Identify scaling opportunities, efficiency gains, and new growth pathways across paid channels
- Stay across platform updates, policy changes, and performance trends across Meta, Google, and TikTok, and proactively share insights with the team
- Contribute to broader marketing strategy, planning, and channel expansion discussions
Technical & Tracking
- Set up, audit, and troubleshoot Meta Pixel, Conversions API, server-side tracking, and attribution issues
- Build and maintain tracking setups using GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Integrate paid media data with CRM or backend systems when required
- Work with advanced attribution tools such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros, or similar
Reporting & Client Communication
- Prepare clear, accurate monthly performance reports with insights, learnings, and next steps
- Build and maintain dashboards using Looker Studio, AgencyAnalytics, or similar tools
- Present performance results, recommendations, and strategy directly to clients in a clear and confident manner
Internal Contribution
- Write short internal or external updates (e.g. blog posts, internal notes) on platform changes, performance insights, or emerging trends
- Contribute to improving internal systems, processes, and performance standards across the paid media function
- Support junior team members through guidance, review, and knowledge sharing
Kualifikasi
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4–6+ years’ experience in a senior performance marketing role within a digital agency or eCommerce/DTC environment handling multiple client accounts and varied budgets
- Demonstrated experience owning and scaling Meta and Google Ads; TikTok Ads experience is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage and optimize campaigns across a wide range of budgets
- Deep understanding of paid media funnels, performance optimization, and growth levers
- Strong technical capability across tracking, attribution, analytics, and debugging
- Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively
- A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and does not require close supervision
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain strategy, performance, and trade-offs to clients
- Strong creative judgment, particularly around motion, video-led ads, and testing strategy
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) are critical
Employment Type
This role is engaged on an independent contractor basis.
Recruitment is facilitated by PT Mintox, while the work and contract will be directly with the client.
