Position Overview
In the capacity of a Senior Legal Associate, you report directly to the Head of Legal & Compliance. Your responsibilities encompass the day-to-day management of legal operations and ensuring compliance to the laws and regulations.
Role Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate an array of operational legal documents and agreements, ie. vendor agreements, partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and the likes.
- Assist the Head of Legal in the company's fundraisings / transactions.
- Assist in the execution of legal research, provision of legal advice, analysis of legal and product-related matters, and assessment of their implications.
- Facilitate the process of obtaining product and business licenses / approvals.
- Along with the compliance associate, ensuring regular reports are submitted to the relevant authorities.
- Contribute to the management of legal risk and compliance.
- Extend legal support for administrative requirements.
- Taking care of the general corporate matters of some of the group’s legal entities.
Kualifikasi
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Law from a reputable university.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience, either as an in-house legal professional or an associate at a law firm.
- Strong understanding or interest in financial services and personal data protection matters is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating business licensing / approval submissions processes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build connections with others.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong time management skills.
