We are looking for a Quality Engineer (Mid level) to join our growing QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring that every release meets our quality standards.
You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other QAs to identify risks early, maintain test coverage, and continuously improve testing efficiency and reliability. This role suits someone with solid QA fundamentals who is ready to take greater ownership in release quality, cross-team collaboration, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and product requirements to design comprehensive and traceable test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute manual and/or automated tests across web, mobile, and API platforms.
- Identify, document, and retest defects to ensure complete resolution before release.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and ensure alignment on expected behavior.
- Communicate risks, complexities, and test progress proactively to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery aligned with sprint and release commitments.
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned modules or features, maintaining quality consistency through regression and release cycles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, including test case reviews, automation integration, and release validation.
- Collaborate with engineers to investigate issues in staging or production environments, identify the root cause, and drive resolution.
Kualifikasi
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, testing web and mobile applications (IOS and Android).
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end QA lifecycle — from requirement analysis and test design to execution, reporting, and post-release verification.
- Proficiency in QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Git, and debugging utilities like browser dev tools or device logs.
- Solid understanding of API testing, basic SQL queries, and log analysis for issue investigation.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Playwright, Webdriver.io, or Katalon is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail; able to design tests that anticipate both functional and edge cases.
- Strong communication skills — able to collaborate effectively across QA, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing testing independently while maintaining strong alignment with the team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing in domains such as Ads, Buyer Experience.
- Understanding of debugging tools, Web Console Logs, or Android Studio for issue reproduction.
- Exposure to continuous integration testing or test automation pipelines.
