- Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive quality control processes for each stage of the production lifecycle, from raw material acquisition to finished product assembly.
- Establish clear criteria and benchmarks for product quality, ensuring they align with industry standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular and random inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products, utilizing industry-standard testing equipment and methodologies.
- Collaborate with third-party testing laboratories as needed to ensure accurate and unbiased assessment of product quality.
- Work closely with the design team during the pre-production phase to establish precise quality specifications for each product.
- Regularly communicate with production and supply chain teams to address quality concerns, providing actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Identify root causes of quality issues through data analysis and collaboration with relevant departments.
- Implement corrective actions promptly, working closely with production teams to prevent recurrence and improve overall production efficiency.
- Conduct regular on-site audits of suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance with quality standards, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback to vendors, fostering a collaborative approach to quality improvement.
- Maintain a detailed and organized record-keeping system for quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective action plans.
- Generate regular reports for management, highlighting trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement, driving initiatives to improve overall product quality and reduce defects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, integrating relevant improvements into existing quality control processes.
- Develop and conduct training programs for production and quality control teams, ensuring a consistent understanding of quality standards, processes, and the importance of their roles.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or Quality Management. Advanced degrees and certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the fashion industry, with a proven track record of implementing successful quality control programs.
- In-depth understanding of textile and garment manufacturing processes, materials, and industry quality standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues efficiently.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving quality objectives.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, adapting to changes and challenges in the fashion industry.
