Role Overview
The Procurement Officer/Executive is responsible for managing internal procurement of goods and services under the Finance Department. This role ensures efficient, timely, and compliant purchasing processes through proper vendor management, price comparison, and documentation, while supporting daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle end-to-end internal procurement of goods and services, including office supplies, parcels, and equipment or medical accessories (e.g. USG accessories).
· Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitoring pricing, performance, service quality, and delivery reliability.
· Conduct price comparisons and vendor evaluations, documenting vendor options and price ranges as a basis for procurement decisions.
· Coordinate with internal teams to understand procurement needs, urgency level (urgent vs non-urgent), and delivery timelines.
· Provide recommendations on purchasing priority and cost-effective options based on urgency and budget availability.
· Manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation in compliance with company policies and finance controls.
· Track and analyze procurement data to support budgeting and identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Coordinate closely with the Finance team regarding budget control and payment processes.
Kualifikasi
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or finance-related roles.
- Strong cost awareness with the ability to perform price benchmarking and analysis.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and compliance-driven.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; ERP experience is a plus.
- Able to handle urgent requests while maintaining proper procurement controls
