Overview

As an Operation Management Intern, you will assist the operations team in improving operational efficiency, ensuring optimal process execution, and resolving various operational challenges in the edtech sector. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of educational services to B2C customers.

Job Description

  • Schedule Coordination: Collaborate with tutors to design and manage structured schedules that optimize online learning experiences and meet student needs.
  • Class Operations Management: Oversee tasks related to class preparation, monitoring, and technical support to ensure seamless online class delivery.
  • Information Broadcasting: Assist in broadcasting academic-related information to students in a clear, concise, and timely manner, ensuring students are well-informed about classes and assignments.
  • Tutor Presence and Website Maintenance: Ensure tutors are present during sessions and maintain the website to minimize disruptions in academic operations.
  • Tutor Performance Support: Assist in evaluating and analyzing tutor performance to ensure high teaching standards and alignment with institutional goals.
  • Student Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve student complaints promptly, employing effective problem-solving skills.
  • Study Material Management: Ensure the quality and accuracy of study materials uploaded to the website, providing students with up-to-date resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with tutors, students, and the administrative team to ensure smooth academic operations and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with tutors and students to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with best practices in academic management and quality control.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance academic management and operational efficiency.

Kualifikasi

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree (minimum 3rd year) in Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or Airtable (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles.
  • Familiarity with management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with resilience in overcoming objections and challenges.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to analyze situations under pressure.
  • Interest in negotiating and finding solutions that benefit all parties.
