About the role:
National Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic key account management plans to drive Tentang Anak’s growth across all Modern Trade channels (MT) in Indonesia. Working closely with the VP of Sales, you will ensure the management of strategic account relationships, optimize sales performance across distribution channels, focus on long-term partnership growth, and flawless execution across all touchpoints. This role requires a deep understanding of FMCG sales dynamics and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams to achieve ambitious sales targets. You will focus on managing key accounts that significantly contribute to expanding market presence and strengthen Tentang Anak’s position in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Account Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement key account management strategies for modern trade (MT), and distributor channels, with a focus on long-term relationships and sales growth.
- Identify new market opportunities and leverage consumer insights to optimize sales performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create effective marketing and promotional programs for key accounts.
- Flawless execution of availability and visibility across all touchpoints.
Distribution & Channel Management:
- Oversee the execution of strategies for MT channels, ensuring optimal execution of joint business plans with key accounts.
- Manage and coordinate with national and regional distributors to enhance product positioning and develop actionable plans to achieve sales targets, fostering mutual growth and strong partnerships.
Revenue Growth & Target Achievement:
- Establish and achieve sales targets through effective key account management, ensuring sustained revenue growth and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, providing actionable insights and corrective measures as needed.
Leadership & Partnership Building:
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to deliver outstanding results.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on sales objectives and execution.
- Manage negotiations and contracts with strategic accounts, ensuring agreements that are profitable and aligned with long-term company goals.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Leverage market data and analytics to evaluate sales trends, identify growth opportunities, and refine strategies.
- Conduct competitive analysis to assess performance and adjust strategies based on industry trends and market needs.
Budget Management:
- Manage trading terms within budget.
- Compliance on commercial policy.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the FMCG sector, with a strong experience in MT channel, and distributor management.
- Proven track record in driving significant sales growth through strategic key account management and channel distribution.
- Comprehensive understanding of FMCG sales approaches, including joint business planning, trade marketing, and route-to-market strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
