Job Description
We are looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience to support the Company’s fast-growing business in content, creator partnerships, marketing, and brand collaborations.
This role will work closely with business, marketing, partnership, and talent teams in handling a broad range of commercial and operational legal matters related to MCN, KOL/influencer engagements, campaigns, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on various commercial agreements, including: KOL/influencer agreement, talent and creator partnership agreements, brand collaboration and sponsorship agreements, marketing and campaign-related agreements, agency, vendor, and service agreements, NDAs and other commercial contracts;
- Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice (e.g., legal risks, reputational, intellectual property, and regulatory risks) to internal stakeholders, particularly marketing, partnership, business, and content teams;
- Support day-to-day business operations by ensuring contracts and campaigns are executed in a timely and efficient manner;
- Assist in developing and improving contract templates, internal legal processes, and risk management practices;
- Support dispute management and escalation handling relating to creators, campaigns, commercial partners, or vendors when required.
Kualifikasi
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws degree from a reputable university;
- 2–3 years PQE from a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal team;
- Candidates with strong in-house experience from media, entertainment, tech, startup, advertising, or creator economy companies are also highly preferred;
- Experience handling commercial agreements related to marketing, talent/KOL, media, advertising, partnerships, or digital platforms;
- Contract drafting and negotiation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English;
- Ability to balance legal risk with commercial practicality and business objectives;
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with quick turnaround timelines;
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly in supporting marketing, business, and partnership teams; and
- Proactive, responsive, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented mindset
