Key Role:

  • Leading and overseeing all IT engineering functions within the Akulaku Finance Indonesia (AFI); providing strategic direction, managing IT projects, and ensuring the development and delivery of IT solutions.

Key Objective:

  • To deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable IT solutions that support business objectives, while optimizing IT processes and resources.

Strategic IT Leadership:

  • Develop and communicate the division's strategic vision and objectives, aligning IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance to IT Engineering teams.

IT Solutions Delivery:

  • Oversee IT products management, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource optimization.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.

IT Solution Architecture:

  • Lead solution architecture efforts, ensuring that IT solutions align with the organization's technology stack, scalability requirements, security standards, and relevant compliance requirements.
  • Lead the IT engineering team collaboration (internal & technology partners) to design and implement the IT solutions.

Resources Management:

  • Allocate and manage resources, including budgets, personnel, and technology investments.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the teams.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and standards for IT solutions.
  • Ensure that IT solutions meet quality and reliability standards.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and partners to understand business needs and ensure IT solutions meet those needs.
  • Communicate strategies, solutions, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as IT, computer science, or engineering.
  • Extensive experience min. 10 years in IT engineering and has experience in IT leadership roles.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of multifinance business processes in Indonesia.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, architecture, and project management.
  • Knowledge about COBIT, TOGAF, ITIL, ISO27001, and NIST is a must, certification will be a plus point.
  • Proven experience in managing complex IT teams, products, and projects.
  • Experience in popular architecture, technology, and framework such as microservices, Java, JavaScript, Python, Springboot, React/ReactNative, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Alibaba Cloud, etc.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Good leadership skills and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent leadership, disciplined execution, and communication skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external teams.
