Government Outreach:
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with government officials, agencies, and key stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and other forums with government entities.
Monitoring Legislation and Policy:
- Stay informed about relevant legislative and regulatory developments at local, state, and federal levels.
- Analyze proposed laws and policies to assess their potential impact on the organization.
Advocacy & Compliance:
- Develop and present clear and compelling advocacy positions to support the organization's goals.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance matters related to government relations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for effective government relations strategies.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including industry associations and advocacy groups.
Issues Management:
- Identify potential issues and risks related to government relations and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work proactively to address and resolve any challenges that may arise.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (min 4 years) in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
- Passion for food security, agriculture, stunting/health issues is a plus point.
- Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a news/ media company is a plus point.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with government officials and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and issues is a plus.
- Proficiency in crafting detailed and compelling proposals to get the projects from the related ministries and other local government
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging marketing technologies.
