We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor to support our Audience & Social Media Team in creating engaging, high-quality video content for digital platforms.
You will work closely with the social media and content teams to produce short-form and long-form videos that drive audience growth and engagement across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook.
Responsibilities :
Video Editing & Content Creation
- Edit and produce high-quality, engaging, and shareable videos for social media and digital platforms.
- Craft compelling news or branded video content that resonates with target audiences.
- Optimize video formats, aspect ratios, and durations for different platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter).
- Apply motion graphics, subtitles, captions, animations, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
- Edit interviews, behind-the-scenes content, explainer videos, trending clips, and viral-worthy edits.
Social Media Optimization & Trends
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices for video engagement.
- Optimize thumbnails, metadata, and video structures to maximize reach and audience retention.
- Collaborate with the Audience & Social Media Team to develop video ideas that align with editorial and marketing strategies.
- Implement A/B testing on video formats, hooks, and thumbnails to improve performance.
Workflow & Collaboration
- Work closely with producers, content strategists, and social media managers to execute video concepts.
- Implement feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining quick turnaround times.
- Organize and manage video files, assets, and templates for streamlined editing processes.
Kualifikasi
Requirements :
- 2 years of experience as a video editor, preferably in media, entertainment, or digital content production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and social media audience retention.
- Ability to edit for different social platforms with expertise in vertical video formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Experience in color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of SEO for video content (titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails).
