Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Evaluate fragrance performance based on product briefs, target market, and consumer preferences.
- Provide objective, structured sensory feedback on fragrance development results.
- Support new fragrance development and reformulation of existing scents.
- Recommend formula adjustments, raw material substitutions, and cost optimizations without compromising scent quality.
- Conduct stability and compatibility tests across various product bases (EDP, EDT, body care, etc.).
- Ensure batch-to-batch scent consistency and perform incoming fragrance quality checks from suppliers.
- Analyze market trends, competitor benchmarks, and olfactive directions to support innovation and marketing strategies.
- Prepare clear documentation, evaluation reports, and maintain fragrance sample databases.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fragrance Evaluator, Fragrance Development, or related perfumery role.
- Strong background in perfumery, fragrance, cosmetics, or personal care products is required.
- Excellent olfactory sensitivity and consistency, with strong sensory and organoleptic testing skills.
- Deep understanding of top, middle, and base notes, as well as natural and synthetic raw materials.
- Familiar with fragrance stability testing, aging, light/heat exposure, and product base interactions.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate scent insights into actionable product recommendations.
