Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with corporate goals. Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. Including analysis on competitor’s financial reports.
- Accounting & Compliance: Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, and financial reporting frameworks (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
- Financial Reporting: Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions where necessary. Prepare reports for regulatory authorities as required.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and recommend strategies to improve liquidity and financial efficiency.
- Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal financial controls to marketing and operational expenses, assets, ensure accuracy, and minimize financial risks.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, ensuring their development and high-performance standards.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Operations, HR, Sales) to support business decisions with financial insights and recommendations.
- Regulation Update and Implementation: Keep updated with new regulation and policy, and ensure the implementation by mitigating the risks, proposing the solution and aligns with relevant parties while needed.
Kualifikasi
- Have minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position (preferable to have experience in manufacturing industry).
- Good in financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, strategic thinking and collaborative in pharmaceutical or consumer health industry is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel) and financial management tools (Preferable having knowledge of IFRS and local Nigerian accounting standards).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Placement: Nigeria, Africa (or willing to relocate)
