As an Educational Sales Consultant at Algoritma, you will be a key player in driving the growth of our data science educational programs. Your role involves engaging with prospective students, understanding their career goals and aspirations, and guiding them to the appropriate data science courses offered by Algoritma. You will be instrumental in helping students make informed decisions about their education, thereby contributing to their professional growth and the success of Algoritma. Key responsibilities:

Student Engagement:

  • Conduct consultations with prospective students via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  • Understand and assess individual student needs, career goals, and educational background.

Course Promotion and Sales:

  • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of Algoritma’s data science courses.
  • Guide students through the enrollment process, providing clear and accurate information.

Target Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new students and increase course enrollments.

Market Awareness:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in data science and education.
  • Use market insights to inform sales strategies and approaches.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Regularly report on sales activities, conversion rates, and feedback from prospective students.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain positive and long-lasting relationships with students.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage student interactions and track progress.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve sales techniques and student engagement strategies.

Kualifikasi

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in explaining complex concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
  • Excellent at building rapport, listening to, and understanding individual student needs and aspirations. Ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. Ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess students' needs and provide solutions or recommendations for suitable courses.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and maintaining detailed records of sales and customer interactions.
  • Technological Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, virtual communication tools, and other technologies relevant to the role.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different situations and changes.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in sales, especially in educational products or services, is highly beneficial.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest trends in data science and education.
