Job Description
We seek a highly skilled and experienced E-Commerce Web Developer who extends functionalities, defines requirements, and modifies business requirements in our software development team. In this role, you will work extensively with our technology leaders to expand our current and future technology roadmap for our e-commerce websites. You will be responsible for creating high-quality and scalable solutions to enhance the overall user experience and optimise our e-commerce websites, including building modules and customising extensions, testing the performance of each site, and maintaining security and feature updates after the installation is complete.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement e-commerce modules, extensions, and customisations to meet business needs.
- Maintain and optimise the performance of the existing e-commerce platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to e-commerce development including integrations, extensions, and third-party tools.
- Ensure the security of the e-commerce platform by implementing best practices and security measures.
- Conduct thorough testing of developed features to ensure proper functionality and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to e-commerce development.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team members.
- Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to improve the overall code quality.
- Collaborate with the UI/UX team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
- Optimise website speed and performance to enhance the overall user experience.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and development processes.
Kualifikasi
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or demonstrable relevant experience (experience will always outweigh qualification).
- In depth experience on e-commerce platform.
- Proven experience as an e-commerce developer with a strong portfolio.
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Magento and/or Pimcore experience is a plus
- .NET and/or Sitecore experience is a nice-to-have.
- Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce best practices and a user-centric approach to development.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
