Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure timely completion.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
- Assign and review tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
- Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze variances between actuals and budgets, and provide explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend accounting software and tools to streamline operations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, including tax compliance.
- Monitor and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key trends and performance metrics.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making.
- Special Projects: Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, such as system implementations, mergers and acquisitions, or process re-engineering.
Kualifikasi
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
