Administer and maintain database systems, including relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, as well as NoSQL databases.
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to ensure efficient database performance.
Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to protect data integrity.
Monitor database performance and utilize tools to diagnose and resolve issues.
Collaborate with the team to design database schemas and relationships, ensuring effective data modeling.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of database concepts, with hands-on experience in at least one RDBMS.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address database issues.
Familiarity with operating systems, especially Linux and Windows, and basic shell scripting is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to learn and grow in the field of database administration, with previous internship experience or relevant coursework being an advantage
