About Us
We are a growing grocery app looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our data team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering various data-product deliverables that have significant impact on Allofresh business.
About the Role:
As a data scientist in Allofresh, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that we are making data-driven decisions. You will apply analytical and statistical techniques not only to answer questions but also to generate good questions. The successful candidate will leverage statistics, machine learning, econometrics, causal inference and other tools to answer the problem at hand.
Job Description:
- Identifying potential growth opportunities through data exploration & analysis
- Collaboratively work with stakeholders to define problems and to provide actionable insight based on data-driven approaches
- Promoting self-service data driven culture within organization
- Developing scalable data products (data mart pipeline automation, predictive model, prescriptive dashboard, etc.) that drives businesses/products growth
- Designing and analyzing controlled experiment to determine incremental effect of business & products initiatives
Kualifikasi
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience as Data Scientist or Data Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, Economics, or Mathematics
- Strong ability to distill and translate business cases into clearly defined data analytics problem
- Experience in crafting engaging and compelling data insights for business stakeholders and diverse audiences
- Highly proficient in SQL and Python
- Experience in any dashboarding tool (preferably Google Looker enterprise)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience
- Solid knowledge in root cause analysis, statistics, time-series, or predictive modeling skills
- Experience in data pipeline orchestration with Airflow
- Experience in managing multiple projects with competing priorities
- Prior experience in a technology company (consumer app platform)
