The Commercial Excellence position plays a pivotal role in bridging Marketing/Brand and Sales/Trade Marketing by ensuring brand strategies are effectively translated into channel-specific commercial executions. Ensure Market Presence by leveraging co branding & Activation Opportunities in All Marketing Activity even For Long Term Growth and monitoring commercial performance to drive sustainable brand growth across all channels. Operating with high analytical independence and strategic influence, this position provides insights, recommendations, and governance that strengthen the connection between marketing intent and trade execution effectiveness. Job Description
Channel Strategy & Planning
- Act as a strategic bridge between Brand/Marketing and Trade Marketing to help convert brand strategies into practical commercial initiatives across GT, MT, and emerging channels (e.g., e-Commerce, NCD).
- Define and align brand roles and positioning (e.g., premiumization, volume driver, trial channel) to guide channel prioritization and resource or marketing investment allocation.
- Conduct regular channel performance and opportunity analysis (based on Trade Marketing and Sales Distribution insights) to identify priority areas for brand-channel optimization.
- Recommend channel portfolio, must-have SKUs, and pack/format strategy to optimize brand presence and sell-through performance.
Commercial Brand Performance & Marketing Investment ROI Management
- Analyze commercial and sell-through performance across channels, identify execution gaps, and propose corrective actions to improve brand visibility and sales results.
- Track ROI of marketing investments across GT, MT, and emerging channels, and recommend budget reallocations to higher-return initiatives.
- Identify brand growth opportunities in existing channels through regular review of sales performance, category trends, and channel-specific execution results.
Visibility, Merchandising & Execution Governance
- Validate and monitor product visibility strategy (e.g., placement in outlets, in-store) in collaboration with Trade Marketing to ensure brand consistency, message clarity, and adherence to Marketing guidelines.
- Support the implementation of store-level visibility standards (e.g., hero SKU placement, planogram adherence, and call-to-action visibility) by providing guidance and recommendations to maximize purchase conversion.
- Ensure brand consistency across all commercial touchpoints, providing corrective feedback to safeguard visual and communication alignment with brand identity.
New Channel Development & E-Commerce Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales/E-Commerce and Sales/NCD teams to assess digital and new channel shelf presence, define brand growth priorities, and ensure brand integrity in online or new channel environments (e.g., Koperasi, Tourism).
- Support pilot activation and scaling in new ecosystem channels by coordinating positioning, activation design, and performance monitoring with Sales/NCD teams.
Process Enablement, Reporting & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Consolidate market, sales, and visibility data to support performance review and generate actionable insights for brand and channel optimization.
- Support the development of brand commercial playbooks and toolkits (e.g., marketing parts), ensuring learnings and best practices are codified for replication and national rollout.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment with Finance, Trade Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure coherent execution of commercial plans and budget accuracy.
- Regularly sharing Competitive Advantage: Outperforming competitors by developing unique market insights PS IW
- Drive Integration of Digital Insights (e-commerce data , social listening , CRM) into marketing & commercial planning
Kualifikasi
Job Requirements
- Min. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Communication, or related fields
- 3-6 years experience in commercial strategy, trade marketing, or channel marketing roles within the FMCG/Food & Beverage industry but understanding the brand marketing fundamental .
- Exposure to multi-channel marketing (GT, MT, E-Com, New Channels, CRM)
- Strong communication and influencing skills to align cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong analytical and reporting background related to marketing ROI, visibility, or sales performance
- Proficient in data-driven marketing and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Open to occasional travel for market immersion and coordination meetings
