We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer with strong hands-on cloud security experience, particularly across AWS or GCP production environments. You will report to the Director of Security and work closely with our Site Reliability Engineering team to strengthen the security posture of our hybrid cloud environments.
This role is ideal for someone with 6+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure security and who enjoys building, improving, and implementing security standards across engineering teams.
Work Arrangement
- Full-time position
- Hybrid work model
- Monday to Friday, 5-day work week (flexible work schedule)
- Eligible to reside and work in Indonesia (Indonesian citizenship only)

Key Accountabilities
Cloud & Infrastructure Security
- Secure AWS/GCP workloads including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Harden Linux/Windows servers, VMware environments, PostgreSQL and storage systems (LVM/EBS/S3).
- Advocate for secure-by-design patterns and collaborate closely with SRE teams.
Security Tooling & Technology Integration
- Deploy and manage CSPM, CNAPP, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/MDR, WAF/Firewalls, DDoS, and Vulnerability Management tools.
- Investigate and correlate security events across cloud and on-premise environments.
Data, Platform & Network Security
- Implement encryption, access controls, data lifecycle policies and secure configuration baselines.
- Design VPC/subnet segmentation, firewall rules, and zero-trust access patterns.
- Support IAM/PAM cleanup and access governance initiatives.
Governance, Risk & Incident Response
- Contribute to compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR/PDPA).
- Support security incident response, forensics, and RCA processes.
- Continuously assess security gaps and recommend enhancements.
Kualifikasi
Qualifications and Competencies
Must-Have
- 6+ years in cloud or infrastructure security, preferably in hybrid environments.
- Strong hands-on cloud security experience (AWS or GCP) in production environments — this is a core requirement.
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR, CSPM/CNAPP, WAF/DDOS, EDR, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Knowledge of network security, OS security, IAM/PAM, storage/database security.
- Familiarity with OWASP, CIS benchmarks, and cloud-native HA/DR concepts.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, SRE, and infrastructure teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CEH, OSCP.
- Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Sentinel/OPA, or DevSecOps tooling.
- Exposure to privacy/security considerations for PII vs. non-PII data.
