Category / Merchant Operation Specialist (Marketplace - Gadget)

Job Description

  • Communicate and pitch with marketplace merchants closely and drive their GMV/sales growth with monthly, quarterly, and annual planning on core products
  • Negotiate with merchants over SKU price and project collaboration, amplify merchants' participation in sales promos to achieve mutual growth, while sharing advice on promo optimization
  • Initiate strategy to help merchants grow through ads and other new projects
  • Monitor performance data and raise issues for optimization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above, any major
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in Tech/Internet company (like E-commerce, E-commerce Enabler, Financial Technology), preferably with work experience as Category Operation / Merchant Operation, handling gadget or digital category
  • Fluent in both writing and oral English and Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin is a plus and would be an advantage
  • Good communication, negotiation, and data analysis skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
  • Good project management and problem-solving
  • Responsible person with capability to work with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Quick to learn market trends
