Position Overview:

The B2B Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships with business clients in the groceries sector. This role focuses on understanding the unique needs of wholesale buyers, distributors, and retailers, as well as creating tailored strategies to meet those needs. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the groceries industry, proven B2B sales expertise, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop strategic sales plans specific to the groceries industry, targeting wholesale buyers, retailers, and distributors.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the groceries sector.
  • Achieve and exceed defined sales targets across multiple categories and channels.
  • Set performance targets and KPIs, providing regular coaching and feedback to drive team success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key players in the groceries supply chain, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and foodservice providers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing concerns and providing tailored solutions.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities in the groceries industry.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and supply chain, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Continuously optimize sales processes and approaches to adapt to changing market dynamics and customer needs.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in the groceries (online/offline) or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts in the groceries sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the groceries industry, including market trends, pricing strategies, and supply chain dynamics.
