Job Overview:
The B2B and Complementary Procurement Staff plays a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and managing vendors and suppliers for raw materials, complementary items, and merchandise specific to B2B orders. This individual will focus on ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining high-quality standards and timely delivery to support the company’s B2B business operations.
The role requires min. 2 years of experience as Procurement/Sourcing Specialist in a fashion retail industry, strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, and an understanding of the fashion retail industry’s supply chain dynamics, particularly in accessories, bags, and apparel.
Job Role:
- Identify and establish partnerships with reliable suppliers for raw materials, merchandise, and complementary items tailored to B2B order requirements.
- Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and negotiations to ensure high standards of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Execute procurement strategies aligned with Torch.id’s B2B operations and client-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand design, material, and order specifications.
- Stay updated on market trends, material pricing, and emerging technologies in the fashion industry.
- Negotiate competitive pricing and terms while ensuring ethical and sustainable procurement practices.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including order placement, supplier communication, and logistics tracking.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production deadlines and client expectations.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier performance.
- Mitigate risks in the supply chain by developing contingency plans and maintaining a network of backup suppliers.
Kualifikasi
Job Qualification:
- Male
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Min. 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the fashion or retail industry, experienced in handling B2B project fulfillment.
- Proven experience in sourcing materials (e.g., fabrics, trims, accessories) and managing suppliers.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement tools and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with logistics, import/export processes, and vendor compliance requirements.
- Agility to adapt to dynamic business needs and market conditions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
