We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to design and implement intelligent AI systems that enhance automation, focusing to scale our operations and power customer-facing experiences. In this role, you will harness Large Language Models (LLMs), agent frameworks, and modern AI tooling to build innovative, cost-effective solutions that reduce operational complexity, improve productivity, and enable next-generation AI-driven capabilities across the business.
This is a cross-functional role that blends hands-on AI systems architecture with rapid prototyping, product integration, and operational innovation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Development
- Design, evaluation, and deployment of LLM-powered systems and AI agents to automate business workflows (e.g., support, operations, GTM strategies).
- Establish evaluation frameworks to test, measure, and iterate on AI agent performance and decision quality.
- Prototype solutions rapidly — from POC to production — using cutting-edge tools while minimizing software development overhead.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure robust, scalable, and secure deployment of AI systems into backend services or user-facing products.
2. Automation & Operational Scaling
- Identify and implement AI-driven automation opportunities across customer support, internal operations, and product workflows.
- Build AI-powered self-serve tools to reduce support dependencies and streamline user onboarding or engagement.
- Develop systems that enhance productivity for internal teams (e.g., GTM, product, operations) through intelligent automation.
- Leverage commercial LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and open-source models to balance performance, cost, and customization.
Kualifikasi
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or applied AI, with at least 1 year focused on LLMs or generative AI.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLM integration via APIs and/or fine-tuning (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI tooling: LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector DBs (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
- Experience building and deploying AI-powered applications and/or agents.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and NLP fundamentals.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to architect scalable AI solutions with measurable ROI.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with multi-agent frameworks, reinforcement learning, OR retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Knowledge of LLMOps, cost-optimization strategies, and hybrid cloud model serving.
