Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced AI Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI models and systems. The ideal candidate will focus on fine-tuning models (LLM foundation models and also embedding models) while also contributing to backend development and overseeing dataset collection and synthetic data generation. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative AI solutions that will push the boundaries of technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Model Fine-Tuning:
- Design and fine-tune embedding models tailored to specific business needs.
- Optimize pre-trained models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Conduct hyperparameter tuning and implement custom layers/architectures as needed.
Back-end Development:
- Build and maintain scalable backend systems to support AI-driven applications.
- Develop APIs and integration layers for seamless deployment of AI models.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure efficient deployment and monitoring of AI models.
Data Collection and Synthetic Data Generation:
- Collect and preprocess diverse datasets for training and testing AI models.
- Develop tools and pipelines for generating high-quality synthetic data.
- Ensure data compliance and integrity, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
Collaboration and Innovation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers.
- Stay updated on the latest research and trends in GenAI.
- Prototype and test innovative AI solutions to address business challenges.
Kualifikasi
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in software engineering. Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply. Previous experience with fine-tuning and model optimization is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Model Development:
- Familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of vector databases and search system (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, or other opensource on-premise solution) is a plus.
Backend Development:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Reactjs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture is a plus.
Data Skills:
- Experience in dataset preparation, cleaning, and augmentation.
- Experience in synthetic data generation tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with data management systems and pipelines.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
