Job Description

  • Monitor food, beverage, packaging, and operational costs across all outlets.
  • Review daily sales, purchases, stock movements, wastage, and inventory variances.
  • Ensure recipe costing, menu costing, and selling prices are accurate and updated.
  • Conduct regular stock opname and investigate discrepancies with Outlet, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams.
  • Analyse COGS, food cost percentage, gross profit, and operational expenses; identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, goods receipts, and inventory records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cost-control reports, including variance analysis and recommendations.
  • Support budget preparation, forecasting, and monthly financial closing.
  • Maintain cost-control SOPs and ensure outlets follow approved portioning, recipe, and inventory procedures.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Outlet Managers to improve profitability and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably within F&B, hospitality, retail, or multi-outlet businesses.
  • Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, P&L reporting, COGS analysis, inventory control, and monthly financial closing.
  • Strong understanding of cost control, food cost, labour cost, operational expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Able to prepare accurate financial reports and provide actionable insights to improve outlet profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Experience coordinating with Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Outlet Managers to ensure financial compliance and cost discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and financial modelling.
  • Familiar with accounting software, POS systems, inventory management systems, and multi-outlet reporting.
  • Able to lead, mentor, and supervise finance/accounting team members.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and strict reporting deadlines.
