Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst (Supply Chain Management) plays a pivotal role in our organization's supply chain operations by leveraging technology and analytical skills to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize supply chain performance. The primary purpose of this position is to bridge the gap between our supply chain stakeholders and technology solutions, ensuring that our systems support the end-to-end supply chain process effectively. The Business Systems Analyst (Supply Chain Management) will design optimal solutions for Supply Chain Management in our organization and maintain all product development processes with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements related to supply chain processes and systems.
- Integrate SCM Product Application with our internal ERS System (SAP Business One) and with other systems, databases, or applications to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Design and document detailed system specifications, including data flow diagrams, workflow processes, and integration points to support supply chain initiatives.
- Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to identify and resolve any defects or issues.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, test plans, and user manuals. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and share relevant information with team members and stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation of new supply chain systems, including user training, data migration, and post-implementation support.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate supply chain systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
- Follow coding standards, development methodologies, and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry best practices and maintain a high level of software quality.
- Facilitate communication between supply chain stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals and outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduated minimum (S1/S2) from engineering or business discipline such as Software Engineering/ Information Systems/ Computer Science
- Have minimum of 3-5 years experience as Business System Analyst (SCM)
- Have a strong analytical thinking.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and willing to learn new thing.
With Functional Competencies as follow :
- In-depth understanding of supply chain management principles, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex systems, identifying areas for improvement, and designing solutions that align with business objectives.
- Skill in mapping and documenting current and future state supply chain processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing process improvements.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or specialized supply chain analytics software.
- Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and conducting thorough testing of supply chain systems.
- Familiarity with relevant software and technology solutions commonly used in supply chain management, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
