Business Development Lead

Job Description

  • Develop and execute business development strategies, with a balanced focus on both financial/banking and real estate/property sectors.
  • Inform and shape growth strategies for the company.
  • Establish and manage the sales cycle to meet targets.
  • Nurture relationships with external stakeholders to cultivate a robust sales pipeline.
  • Prospect new clients, securing profitable relationships and meeting assigned targets.
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships and expand our portfolio.
  • Provide financial and investment advice tailored to client requirements.
  • Maintain, grow, and deepen relationships with existing and prospective ecosystem/institutional partners.
  • Set and monitor success metrics and indicators.
  • Identify and target financial institutions, property owners, and investors as potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to tailor solutions for clients.
  • Create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
  • Skillfully negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
  • Stay current with industry trends and market developments to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities to the executive team.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, with a strong focus on the financial institution sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and partners in the financial industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of property finance, including collateral management and credit lines.
  • Strong network of contacts and relationships within financial institutions, property management, and real estate investment sectors.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Startup mindset, ownership, and a proper balance of quality and sense of urgency!
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for business growth.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and data, and deep understanding of real estate key players.
