About the Role:
The Finance, Accounting, and Tax Operations Manager holds full accountability for the accuracy, integrity, and performance of Bumame’s finance, accounting, and tax functions. This role ensures timely financial closing, compliant financial reporting, and effective tax management while identifying and solving complex financial and operational problems.
The Manager leads the FAT Operations team, manages internal and external stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls to support sustainable business growth in a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Finance & Accounting Ownership
- Own and oversee daily finance and accounting operations end to end
- Ensure accurate and timely financial records, month-end close, and management reporting
- Maintain accountability for financial data integrity, internal controls, and documentation
Financial Performance & Delivery
- Drive delivery of financial performance across revenue tracking, cost control, cash flow, and profitability
- Own operating expense and people cost tracking in alignment with business objectives
- Translate financial results into clear insights to support decision-making and performance improvement
Problem Solving & Solution Execution
- Identify finance and accounting issues and design practical, scalable solutions
- Manage internal stakeholders to execute and implement agreed solutions
- Independently solve complex and abstract problems with limited supervision
Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and audit requirements
- Proactively identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation actions
- Act as the primary point of accountability for internal or external audits
Planning, Forecasting & Control
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processes across functions
- Ensure consistent budget vs actual tracking, variance analysis, and follow-up actions
- Establish financial discipline and clear cost ownership across departments
Process Excellence & Scaling
- Continuously improve finance and accounting processes to support scale and efficiency
- Lead readiness for system implementation or automation (accounting, reporting, reimbursements)
- Ensure finance operations are reliable, repeatable, and scalable
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, coach, and develop finance and accounting team members
- Partner closely with business leaders to support product, revenue, and operational performance
- Communicate financial matters clearly and effectively to non-finance stakeholders
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar Finance Operations Manager or Senior Finance role.
- Previous experience working in a Public Accounting Firm (Kantor Akuntan Publik / KAP) is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements. Holding a Brevet A & B certification is a strong advantage.
- High proficiency in operating accounting and ERP software (experience with Odoo, Accurate, or Oracle is highly desirable).
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Proven leadership skills to manage and guide a team effectively.
- Highly accurate, result-oriented, and resilient. Capable of working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
