Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, and transformation from various sources.
- Build and optimize data models and schemas for efficient storage and retrieval of data.
- Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse or data lake.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical expertise for data-driven initiatives.
- Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Optimize and fine-tune data pipelines and database queries for performance and scalability.
- Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to provide them with reliable and well-structured data for analysis and modeling.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and propose innovative solutions to improve data infrastructure.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a data engineer, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and database systems (relational and NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with cloud-based data services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and expertise in SQL.
- Knowledge of big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
