After it was established in 1987, PT Sigma Cipta Caraka, as it would later be known as Telkomsigma, began its business by becoming the chosen partner for IBM to market their hardware to Indonesian banks. Then in 1989, we developed a core banking system called AlphaBits that could accommodate local bank requirements and was utilized by 35 mid-sized banks. When the financial crisis of 1997 hit, in order to meet the requirements needed by local banks as well as improving upon their IT investment efficiency, we launched data centers and outsourcing services. Due to our excellent performance year by year, in 2008, PT Sigma Cipta Caraka was acquired by PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom), the largest telecommunications and information provider in Indonesia. As part of Telkom Group, Telkomsigma aligns its vision and mission in order to fully support Telkom’s portfolio through PT Multimedia Nusantara (TelkomMetra), a holding company that parents several other companies in the Telkom Group. TelkomMetra has given us directives and mandates for telkomsigma to become a major contributor in advancing the main business pillars of Telkom Group (Digital Connectivity, Digital Platform. Now in 2022, Telkomsigma is the leading end-to-end IT solutions company in Indonesia, with over 500 clients, more than 20% IT Services, Cloud &amp; Digital Solution market share, employing over 2,000 IT professionals. We have data centers in major cities in Indonesia, including Tangerang Selatan, Surabaya, and Bogor with Ȓǔˡces in Jakarta, Serpong, Sentul, Surabaya and Bali.
