Sonia Joshani Rahardja

Sonia is a writer—of sorts. As a UX writer/content designer/traveler/pop culture sponge/playlist enthusiast at heart, Sonia designs solutions in the form of words, making conversations between a digital product and its users feel human. Entering the product design world was a byproduct of her curiosity and love for creative problem solving, which she refined and polished during brief stints in Austin and New York City’s advertising agencies. She has worked with clients the likes of Ace Hardware, Hampton, Northwestern Mutual, Hilton Worldwide and countless other local brands. While she is not crafting words and slaying Oxford commas like it's nobody's business, she loves learning the entire process of product development. From engineering and design to data analytics and operations, she has always been fascinated by how these come together to create a functional product that speaks to the users. Before approaching work, she likes to dig deeper into the user context through in-depth research and usability testing all while infusing business strategies from other perspectives as well. A day in the life of Sonia includes bringing users in on the joke through product copy, sitting in usability testing sessions and distracting engineers at work.
