Hi! I’m Muhamad Rifqi Al-Ghifari, an environmental chemistry graduate with an MBA focused on Sustainability & renewable energy business. Over the past 5 years, I’ve been navigating the messy but meaningful journey of building BANANA & Partners—a sustainability startup in Indonesia that explores circular economy solutions in waste, water, and energy sectors. Growing up in Kalimantan, surrounded by mining and resource extraction, shaped my perspective on what sustainability truly means: it’s not just about big ideas, but also about listening to local wisdom, balancing idealism with practicality, and staying adaptable in the face of uncertainty. I’m a firm believer that we need long-term systems thinking, but I also understand the market demands we face today—and I’m learning to walk that tightrope with humility.
