Ismail Marzuki

Hello, I am Ismail! Currently, working as an R&I Staff Research Engineer at InterDigital Canada. In 2021, I was fortunate to be selected as a Posdoctoral Reseacher through BK21 Plus program at KAIST, where I handled a collaborative research closely with Amazon Prime Video team. I was also a recipient of full professor scholarship program provided by Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea, where I earned my Master’s and PhD in 2015 and 2020, respectively. My expertise is in Video Coding, related to HEVC, VVC, and future video coding, and working closely for the video coding standardization under the flag of ISO and ITU MPEG. I believe, education is not designed to make someone becoming a millionnaire, but education can create more opportunities to build and grow someone as a person.
