Before stepping into the tech world, I served as the President of a student executive board in university where I honed my leadership and team management skills, and earned a degree in Psychology. Post-graduation, I transitioned into HR and technical recruitment, where I developed a fascination for the tech roles I was hiring for. This sparked an unconventional journey into software engineering. The interesting part? I didn't learn through universities/bootcamps but I taught myself coding. I use free resources like official documentation, freeCodeCamp, Codecademy, Coursera, Leetcode, and educational YouTube videos. I became an autodidact and a "polymath," expanding my expertise from psychology, leadership, HR, recruitment, into software development. This interdisciplinary experience has endowed me with the ability to understand people, systems, and the intersections between them, enhancing my capability as a developer in a collaborative and team-based environment.
