Erna Wati

My name is Erna, an international law lecturer with immense working efficiency, competitive knowledge, and a strong work ethic, currently pursuing an enhancement of Public International Law in an increasingly complex global society. LLM in Public International Law was attained from the University of Groningen. Previously engaged in an international NGO in capacity-building opportunities for communities and lays the foundation for a community’s sustainable development by sharing experiences and expertise on Saemaul Undong. Working on extensive community development of the targeted village, Tanjungwangi (West Java) as an example of community-driven development (CDD) based on specific institutional principles and community participation. The current responsibility is highly immersed to contribute to the development and delivery of academic provision in International Law and related disciplines including associated academic operational responsibilities as required ensuring an excellent student experience. Additional responsibility as head of international office of Universitas Surakarta. It offers support to all new and continuing overseas students. The International Office also promotes the university’s interests abroad, often in collaboration with foreign universities and businesses. Exchange and UNSA students are also looked after by the IO (International Office), as well as visiting lecturers and researchers.
